    you just need to keep it stable and make sure nothing is going to touch it while you're sleeping. make sure your tent has a little ventilation.

    Would you leave off the rain fly? It is the ventilation that concerns me. I really only have a screen I could open in the door and those up top below the rainfly.

    I would leave the rain fly off or keep the screen door open. one or the other. I'm pretty sure the heater has a safety switch in case there are too much fumes.
