I paid $26,050 (not including tax/lic) on a 2008 Tacoma access cab, 4x4 TRD off road package - which includes tow pack. Thats about $3,000 - $4000 off MSRP.

2007 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 4x2
I bought my 2007 Regular Cab 4x2 2.7L Automatic with 9,400 miles on the odometer this past December for $13,000 walk-out price...plus interest for the 42-month finance payment plan, so, in the end, I'll be shelling out just over $14,500. Dealer was asking $15,000 for the truck sticker price plus almost a thousand in the applicable dealership charges and they only wanted to give me $1,500 for my trade-in (1999 Corolla w/ 160,000 miles). I told them that I wouldn't purchase unless they could get the walk-out price down to $13,000, so they worked with me on the trade-in and took off two thousand plus dealership charges. So, I ended up grabbing the truck for almost three thousand less than what I would have paid for the original sticker price plus dealership fees.

My screw-up was in running the numbers at the dealership after I mentioned my trade-in, instead of negotiating a walk-out price and then mentioning a trade-in afterward, but I justify it by saying that the dealership likely wouldn't have given me as much for the trade-in if we had run the numbers that way. In the end, I think it was a fair deal.

In retrospect, I probably could have gotten the final price down to $12,500 if I had been more forcefully persistent and started to get up and walk out of the dealership, but I was hurried (never a good thing for car negotiations, I know) and, in the end, I figure that the difference over 42 months would have been minimal.

$26,800.00 for 4x4 access cab SR5, 4.0L, 6 sp. manual. Not many original parts left at this point. I guess if I default, the repo man will have to bring a large dumpster to collect the original truck.

My truck was driven by a Southeast Toyota Exec. It had 4999 miles on it. Sticker was $29,000. They dropped the price to $25,000 after 6 hours of haggling and they paid off my Avalanche, which I kept (Not a trade-in). So when it was all said and done I paid $28,000 for my X-SP. I'm damn happy with it. I feels good driving down the road and watching people turn there heads as it goes by!

I'm getting My Tacoma March 31st. I can't wait. 2005, Automatic 4.0L DBL Cab, Silver streak Micha, 4x4 SR5, it has the tow package and tonneau cover, new tires and only 42,000 miles for $19,650.00. How does that sound? My research tells me that im getting the truck for 5-8 grand cheaper than any where else. your thoughts?

    no truck yet!
I'm looking at the same setup as JTDTacoma. Seems to be a good price. Kbb.com shows the invoice at $23,900 + the TRD ($3,220) & tow pkg. ($650) so that'd be about 27,700. good work!
I've been doing my research and looks like a good price for the DC 4x4 TRD is around $27k-$28k and the DC 4x2 TRD about $24k.
TacoMon got the best deal at $26,300 for that 4x4!

Is it worth the extra $3k for the TRD pkg.? I plan on a 3 in. lift, bigger tires/rims, stereo setup, leather seats, etc. so trying to budget for that too ;)

Also (and this may be a dumb question) do the cash back incentives apply toward the invoice price? In other words... could you get the truck for below invoice price?

The sticker price for my truck was $32104 and I paid $30100 out the door. I have an automatic 07 double cab 4X4 trd sport pkg #2, long bed with tow pkg, floor mats, the jbl uprade, 6 disc changer, and side curtain airbags. So the price that I paid before tax and license was about $27400.

You can get the Tacoma for under invoice price! Believe me, I know. If you want to, you can add the leather package before you finalize the deal. Toyota (Gulf States) has a very high quality leather upgrade they do after the truck has left the port. I previously had a Sequoia, and it had the leather added by the dealership. Very high quality!

If you have the time and skills to add things to your truck, I'd consider the non-TRD and eventually get the TSB done to the springs which would upgrade suspension to TRD level. Plus add all the other little things that separate the models. For me, I don't have enough time and realistically would've never done those things. I do love my seats which supposedly are upgraded with the TRD though. Plus I got the 0% financing so I figured why not get a loaded one?! Good luck, you'll love the Tacoma.

Ordered my Tacoma on January 21st, didn't get it until April 9th.

Dealer told me it would take only 4 weeks to arrive.

My previous vehicle died when I was waiting for the Tacoma to show up so the dealer gave me a loaner (2008 Camry) for almost 5 weeks.

I ordered an Indigo Ink Pearl Access Cab, 6-Speed, TRD Off Road, Tow Package, 6-Disc radio, TRD Exhaust & Auto Dimming Rear Mirror.

Dealer couldn't get the vehicle with the 6 disc.

I live in the MidWest & this option ISN'T available for this region. The computers kept rejecting the 'DZ' (6-Disc Radio) option everytime they tried to input it.

I was pretty upset about this since it's the main reason I ordered it from the factory; because I was told I couldn't get it otherwise. I didn't find out until the truck was leaving the Port.
I was almost ready to walk away from the deal. I was that upset & they told me it would cost me over $1600 to retrofit one.:(
I made them feel pretty guilty about it & was told there was nothing they could do, since the radio was discontinued from the factory & they're reconverting production to the 2009's that should show up in August.

    Anyway, MSRP was $29168.00
    Invoice was $26485.00

They gave me the TRD Exhaust for Free
    Auto Dimming Mirror Free

Threw in a Spare Tire lock, Wheel Locks, Cargo Divider, Touch Up Paint & 5 free oil changes.

    I paid $26,151.00

I think I did ok & am glad it took so long to get the truck since the APR dropped from 3.9% to 2.9% in April.:D

& I purchased a 6-disc changer from someone on these fourms.;)

Now I need to find a Steering Wheel that has the audio controls & an airbag.
Anyone have one for sale or trade?:p

    Regards,
    Dan
