Bought mine March 10th; An '06 AC 4X4 TRD OR & Tow with only 8800 miles.

New sticker was $29,070, they were asking $25,800 and got it for $20,500. They gave me $5,000 for my '01 Grand Cherokee with 133K miles for a trade difference of $15,500. Overall I am happy with the deal, I wanted to trade for $15K, they let me walk over $500. I decided I would never find a used with low low miles, packaged the way I want, and never find such a deal.......... went back an hour later. :)

2008 Tacoma SR5 Sport Package, Access Cab, Indigo Ink (Blue),4x4, V6, 6spd Manual, Tow Package, 6 Disc CD.

Bargained to include a cargo net & full tank of gas. come to find that they fill them full when you buy anyway. And what I thought was a cargo net is actually called a bed net. I got the cargo net. Opps :) So I though I was getting a free $50 in gas and a $100 net... when all I got was a $40 mini net. No wonder he accepted my extras. haha.

At the time, March 2008 (including rebate of $500) but before tax & lic.
    - Invoice was $26.5
    - Costco at the time was $26.1
    - USAA Car Buying Program was $25.8

I paid $25.3k due to the dealer misquoting the price. He quoted without the sport package... but honored the price anyway. I was happy because it beat Costco & USAA. He said he lost $800... but we all know that a dealer never loses money when selling a vehicle.

Tax was 7.75% & license was I believe around mid $300

    Bought in Northern California.

It has the looks of the 4x4 with all the bigger tires and wheels and stuff, but is only a 2WD.

I just purchased my 07 Double Cab, short bed, PreRunner, SR5, leather interior, 6 disk changer, etc. less than three weeks ago. It had 13,000 miles. Asking price was $21,995. They gave me $4,500 for my 98 Isuzu Rodeo (way more than I thought I would get) and my total price out the door was $17,500. Not a bad deal even after reading about some of the good deals you guys got.

I bought my '07 at Coos Bay Toyota last may for $24,977, which was a couple hundred below invoice. Its a Summit White V6 Access cab 6speed with SR5, Limited slip, Alloy wheels, chrome exhaust tip, floor mats, and the heavy towing package. Pretty good deal i'd say since it was the EXACT truck i wanted(except for maybe the color).

Now is a good time to buy with the incentives offered and seeing that the economy is slow, the dealers are more then willing to negotiate to sell a vehicle. I still haven't purchased my Taco yet, but when i went in 2 weeks ago to see how much i could get on my trade and work numbers, i got them to give me 12 for my car, and the Taco TRD Sport 4x4 D/C for 23,900 which is about invoice more or less.
