08' (bought on 11/15/07) BSP X-Runner. Optioned with bed mat, tailgate spoiler, tint, LED interior lighting and the stupid Toyo-group protection package.

    List $26,100
    Paid $23,500+tax.

I traded my 00' S-10 in and they gave me initially $3K for it. Then they tried to hit me with a $700 dealship fee which I told them to either loose the fee or I walk on the deal. They gave me another $700 on my trade to offset the dealer fee.

I was under the impression the "free trade agreement" helped the peso make gains vs the USD. I guess with inflation it's about the same as it was then...

free trade agreement hasn't done much for our economy... but its affecting a lot the agropecuarian producers... since it has liberated a lot of products for free importing.... laso has its ups and downs...

Possible? Anything is. Likely, I don't think so. I got mine for 29,850 including ALL the options. Without the extra traction control, roof rack, tubes steps, side-curtain air bags, etc, I might have been able to get it for somewhere around $27K.

According to edmund's it should invoice around $26.3K, then there's the $1000 rebate currently offered. Not a bad deal on the surface, is it a great deal? No but if you offered $25K and settled at $25.5K I would think that's a great deal.

    Good luck either way.

MSRP is $30,624 and the rebate is actually $2000. I haven't made an offer yet but I'm thinking about starting at $24,500 and see where it goes from there.
