    why are u guys paying so much on a tacoma still???
    you guys have the ball on the court.... u should throwing them like $25G...
    the truck is not going anywhere since $4 a gallon for gas and going to $5.

    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    The prices being listed aren't far off from what dealer would have to pay to even get the truck on the lot. There is next to 0 markup on these trucks right now, simply due to market pressure. The dealership is getting some money off sales kickbacks (sometimes $500 a truck, but even that is rare), but they are really hoping for future service revenues with these vehicles.

    I bought it last year and there were not very many discounts at that time. I felt that $2,500 off sticker was pretty good at a Toyota dealer.

    I purchased my 2008 Standard cab 4x4 SR5 in Dec 2007. MSRP around $21,000. Walked out the door with it for $18,000. (then i sold my 98 maxima for $3,000 when the dealer was only gonna give me $600 trade in) So basically $15,000 i paid

    I got 18,500 for my trade in and paid another 12,600 otd.

    '08 4x4 double cab sr5 trd off road

    The Tundras they had massive discounts on, but they wouldn't really budge on the Tacoma.

    last sept 07... they have a 07 4x4 double cab with automatic plus the trd off-rd... I got a internet qoute of like $25960 i believer.. I wanted $25500 they would not do it and crappy financing for like 7.25% when I have 780 credit score!! f that!

    now the 09 comign out a new color plus the side air-bag... they gonna want to get ride of the 08 pretty quick

    Depending on where in the country he is, that isn't a terrible price. You might not have done it, but doesn't mean he got played on the deal. There might be other factors in his deal that made it worth it to him.
