I had an 09 Ford Mustang. I loved the car but the payments were killing me. Also, its not exactly the best daily driver in Maine...

2006 Chevy Colorado, black regular cab 4wd. Loved the truck and almost shed a tear when I just traded it for my 10 Tacoma.

They had issues with the head on the 04-06 models, instead of a recall they did a 7yr/100k extended warranty. I qualified for that at 5 yrs 78K, but the dealer hosed me for $2000 for a cam and timing chain that the head ruined saying GM would compensate me. GM said that's impossible to do and the dealer should have. Between that and the corporate rep's insistence that it's not uncommon to have this happen, my trust in the vehicle was shaky at best.

Couldn't be happier in my Taco for the past month. I was so tired of moving my seat up with my knees in the steering wheel so someone could sit behind me.
Or hearing, "...oh my wife has a Jetta"

Before I bought my used '04 Doublecab (in '05), I went and looked at a new Colorado seeing I could get a dsicount through my dad working for GM. I got in one and was so turned off by teh quality of the interior I never bothered with a test drive. My (late) father asked me why the interior bothered me so much. I told him "It is teh part of the vehicle you see the most. The same thing that kept me from ever buying a Dodge Magnum and that ugly-ass dashboard." He just laughed and said I was correct abou it being the most-seen part.

1990 Ford Mustang LX, 2.3L fastback. His name was Pete, and he caught on fire on the interstate and exploded. My Dad's friend was driving him- Dad loaned him out to his friend without asking me. And even though this 'friend' of my dad's wrecked my car, I didn't get a red cent from her after she blew him up.

When I have enough money to afford another vehicle, I'll get another Pete. It'll have to be identical, of course. Good thing is, there are a lot of them still around where I live.
