What did you guys have BEFORE the tacoma???

I started off with a '72 Toyota Celica
Then a '77 Toyota pick up
Chopped 3in, shortened 18 in, dropped, swapped in a Buick 231 V6
brake lights in the tail gate


Chevy S-10 4x4 pick up
Family Cars
Back to Toyota with a '84 FJ60
(I wish I still had this one)


Then a '95 FZJ80



'06 Tacoma Prerunner (shortest time I've owned a car-9 months)


On to a '07 FJ Cruiser



Then my 2013 Tacoma


All were bought bone stock and messed up...I mean modified by me.
I'm sure it wont be long till I'm modding the Taco, oh wait I already am, ordered the OME before I even had the keys to the truck.

 

The Tacoma is my first vehicle!

 

This would be an interesting mod to resurrect today.

 

2010 Porsche Carrera S.....2009 Lexus IS350.....2007 Porsche GT3.....

 

First I had a !2ft Jon Boat with a honda 9.9(cuaght many fish)(still have it)
Then for awhile i had a 96 chevy 1500 2x4 single cab short bed (all fibergalss) with a 350 that thing would hall ass(still have it my dad use it for his boat)
Then i had a 96 jeep zj limeted awd with a 318 it was fun as hell but had a shitload of problems
and then my yota

No I just had the fwd. I kept kicking the idea of get the parts to make it awd but just never looked into it

Had it for 12 years and traded it in on the Tacoma.

I drove a 2007 Chevrolet HHR 1LT for a few years. Drove it from ABQ to LA and San Jose several times no problems at all.

Then this happens, almost $8000 worth of damages done by a kid who texts while driving and speeding in front of my house. This happened when I was driving up my driveway.

Later after a trip after visiting LA, the radiator got a leak, the electric power steering died, and possibly overheated badly.

Then a few months later, going like 5 MPH on the icy road, tried stopping because of a truck suddenly pulling in front of me, and slid like 100 ft into the curb.The CV axle busted, the upper ball joint snapped and some other things. These are deadly without ABS, this car had none!

Then after a lot of fussing for a while traded that HHR in for the Tacoma. Never looking back.

 

Mine didnt have rust though, had the skirts and tear drop alloys though. Badest ass car I have ever owned.

Plans: 3" lift, 265/75/16 a/t or m/t tires, sliders or step-bar, recovery points

And between 2002 (when i was 16) and 2008 (when i graduated college), i drove my fathers old 1997 F-150 Lariette and a CJ-7 Jeep. The F-150 was inherited by my younger brother and bagged up front/ static drop in the rear. The CJ-7 was painted, new seats, 3" suspension lift, 1" body lift, wheels/tires. It was fun, but had a major electric issue we couldn't find or solve and we sold it.







AND my brother (who built the F-150) old Ranger with Blitzkreig mid-travel. He now has a 2011 Tacoma which he's putting a TC long travel kit on. You can find his build under Eric3187 member name.

 

2002 325xi Sport Package, 5spd, 2.5L, H&R suspension, many mods.

Also, still have the bike, she's the weekend ride.

 

2007 Merc ML 350. Dont miss it at all love my truck.
