Before my '09 double cab I had a 2000 L.R. Disco. Had about 125K on it and it was time to move on. Bought is used in 2002 from the L.R. dealership in Las Vegas.....

Needed about $4K in work on the motor among other things when I decided it was time. The truck went through just about anything, but it always had some type of issue.

Fun to drive and alway received compliments, but that were multiple times that I had repair bills that were at least $1,000.

The deciding factor was when my wifes ass was burned by the heated seats. Funny story, we were driving down the road and I look over at her and see smoke coming from her jacket. When I noticed that she jumped out of her seat and said that her ass was on fire. Sure enough there was a burn hole in the seat from the heating element.

We still laugh about that one.

Look something like this, but in white with a 2" in lift and oversized tires with black rims.



Before that I had a '94 Volvo 850 Wagon - 5 spd.

1. 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Owned for 6 weeks and 800 miles before selling it. Loved the car, but it was built terribly and spent 3 of those 6 weeks at the dealer getting shit fixed.

2. 2005 Toyota Tacoma. Owned for just over a year now. Love it more than the day I bought it.

 

I had a 2004 Nissan 350z touring coupe. I loved that car and still see it driving around town. I was forced into getting something bigger for the kids and I have never owned a truck before, but I couldn't have made a better choice.

 

I had an 01 Nissan Xterra -- no pics of it because I hated it like nothing else... before that a 00 Durango 4x4 - before that 00 Mustang, 93 Saturn SC2, and my first love was a 67 Mustang Convertible in high school...

Man I hardly ever get on this forum anymore. Well I had a 2001 BMW 325i, wanted to trade up to a 2005+ GTO but I wanted a specific color and it turned out to be too much of a hassle. Toyota gave me a good deal and I've always like their trucks. The good news is I just found and bought the GTO I wanted, it's sitting right next to the Tacoma.
