2004 PreRunner V6 TRD Double Cab
Has an undercover bed cover hiding mild bed wear and minor paint chips here and there and the rear bumper has a dent in it from what I assume was a towing mishap. Had 147,500 on it and has 149,650 on it now (got it in May).
The dealership wanted $12,500 for it but let me have it for $10,000(I have a 97 Camry as well so I have been there before.)
Also had all belts replaced and all fluids changed...

 

2004 SR5 3.4L 4x4 5 speed manual

Bought it in 2012 from a dealer in Southern California for $14,500. Had 88,000 miles on it when I got it as the second owner, now has 122,000. It's been an excellent, reliable (and paid for!) vehicle. I've taken this thing up to the high sierra's in the dead of winter with no problems getting around in the snow. Plan to drive it for as long as possible.

 

'96 Extra cab 4x4, 5 speed manual; sun?/moon? roof; 2.7l 4cyl; hard shell bed cover; very clean, very little rust; 160,000 mi. Runs like a top. April of this year, $2,500.

3000 for 96 xtra cab 3.4 5 speed manual but 1200 to patch the frame rot on rear passenger side and needs new tires

 

Bought my '04 TRD DC 4WD (w/rear locker) from the original owner: my girlfriend who acquired it in her divorce. It was her daily driver. It saw regular/scheduled maintenance, but never saw as much as a gravel road. Needless to say, the truck was in excellent condition inside and out.

It had about 109K miles on it when I bought it 3 years ago for $12K. Made my last payment this month.

 

I think I paid ~$19,000 for my 2004 TRD doublecab 4x4. That was back in 2005 though.

Didn't buy it new, but it looks like the original owner commuted on it, and took it out wheelin got it stuck once (hole in skid plate and a tweeked bracket where they hooked a tow strap - 8" away from the actual tow hook ), and sold it back to the dealer. Probably when out and bought a PT Cruiser or something more fitting of his driving skills.

Anyhoo, I bought it it late 2005 with about 24,000 miles on it. It's up to 140k now. Has been a daily driver/weekend 4x4/motorcycle carrier/tow vehicle for the camper trailer the whole time, but now that I've got a new 4Runner, it's my play/project truck.

It's been mostly stock. ~6 years ago I put some 5100's with a shackle lift in the back to raise it about an inch so the 265/75's stopped rubbing. Now, I just finished throwing on a set of ext travel Kings and TC upper control arms, with all new bushings, ball joints, and tie rods. So far, it rides a *tad* high with the factory spring setting, but that's an easy enough fix. Next on the list is replacing my "W" shaped leafs with some All Pros, or maybe do a Chevy 63" swap... hmmm....

 

I just bought my first one. 2004 Double Cab for 10k w/ 78,000.

 

Damn. That's a steal. How long ago? You could sell that today (assuming clean, rust free, running well, etc.) for $15K in my part of town.

 

I got it 3 weeks ago.

 

I paid 20k for my 2004 MT 4x4 Extended Cab + Camper top + three oil filters + Toyota coolant for the next coolant change way back in 2005 with 15k miles. I think it helped that the 2nd Gen trucks were just coming out at the time.

 

2001 Double cab SR5 prerunner V6 auto. 145K miles. $8k 3 years ago. I thought I did okay on it. I occasionally get offers for it for 6-7K. Bought it from the original owner with all the purchase and maintenance paperwork.

There's an SR5 for sale locally with only 32k miles. Wow. They're asking $14k.

2500.00 Bought it from a member from Arkansas and had it shipped up to me in Wisconsin. Head was messed up but it has no rust and every tacoma north of chicago has completely rotted frames or insanely high mileage on a new frame. Bought it to put one tons under and v-8 swap it. Just got done rebuilding my camper so now I'm starting on this.
