yes, ive spent about $4000 in the last 6 mos making the truck pretty close to brand new. Timing belt, All hoses, belts, radiator, suspension, brakes etc. I run a dealership and bought the truck on the side :D. He kept great care of it but I went thru and replaced any and everything so it will last another 150k miles.

paying some of these prices are just crazy to me for mileage/trim/ect.. haha BUT i said the same thing for my 2013 TRD OR and bought it anyways.. and i love it

with that said im looking into getting myself a 1st gen as well:anonymous:

10k for 150,000 miles seem right to you guys? most of the trucks here either have 200k miles for $8k or 100k miles for 12+k

2002 extra cab, 3.4 manual 4x4 TRD SR5 from Evergreen, Colorado in June 2016 . The rust free, original owner, no accident, 160,000 mile Taco had a right rear spring with a small piece of the lowest leaf broken off but otherwise was in good shape. My daughter bought it for $8500.

When I drove the 2002 above with my daughter to Virginia for college in August 2016, I liked it so much that I bought my own in March of 2017. I found a 1999 extra cab 3.4 manual 4x4 TRD SR5 from Lakewood, Colorado. The rust free, 135,000 mile Taco had a minor front fender tweak as if someone was backing out of a parking garage and grazed the right front bumper on one of those big cylindrical cement posts. The second owner bought it from the original owner in November 2016 but had to sell. I bought it for $10500.

Depends on the region. Around my part of the world, it's normal to see TRD 4x4 double cabs in good condition, with "low" mileage (<10k/yr), offered at $12- $14k. Dealer prices can get a little stupid though. What they actually sell for us another question.

Thanks. Its 8N1 - Blue Horizon Metallic. In some light it looks blue other light purple. Username, Winkle99 was inspired from a 2011 thread where members debate the 8N1 color. One comment, "That's periwinkle dude!", struck me funny.

Frame looks good but the work is changing out both aprons and radiator support.

Yessir.. the"after" picture. I'm denying a similar stance as you got going on there. I don't so much off roaring in this particular toyota(I've got two 85's for serious stuff) but, I do take it thru trails to get to our duck blind and there is a mild creek crossing that a few inches of lift would really help out far as my hitch not dragging on the entry side. I planned on a 3.5" fabtech coilover kit and run 18x9's with 285/65's but I don't know if I can swing that much money right now.
