I bought this 2015 Tacoma at the start of July 2019... Caught my eye on Offer Up... 62,900 miles, 17" wheels and a camper shell.... 4 cyl with 4 spd auto.... Asking $11k.... whaaaattttttt? Something stinks like fish, sure enough.. run a VIN report.... And its a salvage/rebuilt title..... Ok its still a 4 yr old truck with just over 60k miles so I start communicating with the guy, it was a base/fleet work truck, not many options that belonged to a Pest Control company in WA state not far from me. At 57k miles it was crunched on the front right, not bad really. I even got the pics from the PO, hood, fender, bumper cover and grill... But it was a stripped base model work truck that was 2 yrs old with 57k miles so they flipped it to salvage title and sold it at the insurance auto auction where someone bought it, replaced the hood/fender/bumper cover with aftermarket parts, painted them and took it in for State Patrol inspection, voila. Rebuilt title.

I was suspicious, crawled all over the front right engine bay but no signs of any cracked spot welds or evidence of damage. A few radiator brackets were straightened but overall I was amazed they totaled it. PO had spent $4400 on a new SnugTop shell and 17" fuel rims with new tires and someone added weather tech mats along the way. Bottom line I gave the guy $9700 for it. Before and after pics attached. Its a base model but does have A/C, bluetooth, and power windows. I added the backup camera, hitch, and wiring so far and have a LCE 2.7 header on the way trying to give it a little more oomph for towing my drag car and trailer (2k lbs for both) since I gave up 180 rpm to the bigger tires. Suits my needs just perfectly so far.

I paid 9,000 for this 2008 Regular cab SR5. Bucket seats, tow package. It's a one owner with 61k miles. Owned by a little old man who had it serviced every 3k at the dealership. He passed away and no one in his family could drive stick.

My Dad bought a Gen 1 Tundra from there years ago. I remember it being his quickest buying experience out of all the Toyota purchases we’ve made.

2019 DCSB 2.7L SR $31,000 drive out. Probably not the best deal, but I'm happy.

    Still thinking about it.
In October 2019 I paid $22,500 for a 2015 Access cab 4x4, 2.7/5-speed with 30,500 mi. Seemed fair to me but I'm in Alaska where things cost too much.

Wow. Nice job. I looked at that same year/model/color about a year ago on a used car lot. I think they were asking $5900. (No crash damage)
I test drove it and the engine was tired. And when I looked at the frame, it all looked good until I got to the left rear shock mount area. It was almost rusted through.

Bought this 2017 SR 2 weeks ago. Belonged to a pest control company and well serviced. 52k miles. Paid $15,500 with an ARE commercial cap on the back that cost $3000 new, but had no tailgate. Found on in Cali for $700 with shipping. Perfect paint match and loving the backup camera!

I had the choice of the same SR with 2.7 or 3.5 for I think $2k or so more but I honestly don't regret buying the 2.7. Does everything I need and the mpg is so great that I use it as a daily even for family trips out. My old truck got around the same or worse than the V6s and I would never drive it far as I felt like I was filling up all the time. This one does around 350 miles local and 420 or more on highway trips on a single tank.

    None....yet
Inherited my father's 2013 reg cab 4x4 before he passed. He couldn't drive any more so he gave it to me late 2018...had ~25k on it. He didn't drive it much after about 2016 so it needed fluids, new ac compressor, and new tranny seal. Runs like a top now.
