Means that even though it has 50,000 miles, it's in pretty much new condition because all it was used for was delivering orders from San Diego to LA.

Lol. So what, the 50K miles dont count because it was delivering things? Brilliant logic.

    Exactly, thanks for the clarification.

I know it's not actually new but it looks the same as when it rolled off the showroom floor, perfect exterior/ interior. I'm stoked on it and the great deal I was able to get, I don't expect you to be as well. But thanks for the questions. :)

Kinda funny you have a formerly commercial truck.

    So do I.

I bought my '08 in December 2011 with 53k on it.
I've got over 103k on it now. Service history shows the floor mat recall was done in April 2011 with 50k on it at Frank Toyota in National City.
No other service has been logged into TIS, figured the previous owner went DIY or Iffy Lube... but other than some small dents on the roof, doors, and hood that look like they might be minor hail damage, the truck was in spotless condition... like it had just been sold, other than the tell-tale remains of what might have been an aftermarket alarm.
One afternoon I was walking back to the truck and the sun was low and behind me... very clear outline in the paint on the bumper where a phone number had once been.

At the hands of young immature minimum wage employees, who know the truck is gonna be gone before anyone knows what they did to it.

Having driven company vehicles when I was younger, I avoid buying them. You can drive the snot out of them, and as long as you don't cause body damage, nobody is the wiser. Which I think the owners of companies understand that as well, that's why they sell them with low mileage before they start having trouble from abuse.

If you're getting a really good deal on the truck, I think that's fine. But I hardly consider the fact that a vehicle was a company car as a PLUS.

Also, if the company has a policy of only putting, say 50K on a vehicle before getting a new one, they might not want to spend a whole lot on maintenance. What do they care if the vehicle goes 200K or not?
