Just got my 22' TRD Off-road.

I called after weeks of searching and spoke with Abdul Khalil. This dude was awesome, and within a week had a truck for me only THREE WEEKS out. Every other dealership quoted 90 to 120 days AT BEST.

Went and bought it today and was in and out in 3 hours. I paid MSRP at 42k. (45 OTD) I'm just happy to get one since I totaled my 13 TRD Off-road. 42k is after some extras like tech package floor mats etc etc

Abdul Khalil at Milton Ruben toyota of Augusta Georgia will get you sorted out and at regular price, no up charging. I paid MSRP no games or extras.IMG_20211129_095009.jpg

    Oh look, another mod....
For what it's worth (regarding the "market adjustment"):

A local salesmen and his manager told me "We mark them up because A) The market will allow it. and B) It is used to discourage buyers from buying the models that are on the lot and in the showroom. (He said this was the main reason they do it.)".

He went on to say "If I sell you that truck; regardless of the price, I do not know when I will get another one to replace it. So I mark it up to discourage you from buying it! If you're willing to pay that, great. If not, great. I do it to encourage you to order one online while you are in my dealership. I actually don't want you to buy the truck that's marked up $5k over MSRP, because now I have to wait 2 months to get a replacement just to show the next guy."

Now, I don't 100% believe him, but that excuse does make a lot of sense. Think of it this way: If you go to your local furniture store, they will not, under any circumstances sell you the floor model. Want to know why? Because customers want to see an actual unit of what they are buying. Looking at a picture of a sofa online is nice. But you'll want to sit on it in person to make sure it's right for you, right? Well the same applies to vehicles.

Yeah I don't really believe that at all. The dealers i talked to want a adm even if I ordered one and waited for it.

Put one of them "preference" orders in for a Lunar Rock OR 6MT with a factory lift, roof rack, and the base tech package for MSRP+1500 in NH. It ended up being just shy of 41k. Hoping that it actually gets allocated...

Just got word mine is built, figuring out how long transportation is going to take.

Reserved my allocation on 11/8 with a dealer in the Portland, OR area. Paying MSRP.

For that price it should have the Technology Package and additional goodies like the skid plate, bed lights, bed mat, etc.
