What did you pay for your 4runner?

2022 pro w/22k miles got it OTD for $47k, Traded my 21 OR Tacoma .

I just traded my 2021 Taco for a highly optioned out Terra 2024 4Runner TRD Pro. I knew the sales manager well and he couldn't discount the $57k sticker but he threw in a full window tint and I paid a $20K difference out the door.

 

I was looking at the Terra but dealer wanted a $10k markup, so I passed.

Question, did you get wireless CarPlay ?

 

It does have it but it's not wireless.

 

I've got serious fomo and want for the last of the 5th gen. Idk if below msrp is a reality right now.

 

It is! No one is buying and stealerships are desperate

 

I think that's regional. Here in NC as of about a month ago the stealerships weren't that desperate. I'm not saying it's impossible to get below MSRP, but from what I've seen ORP's sell pretty quick.

 

I've been shopping for about six months, let one deal go at 46k. When I started shopping the dealers in OR were doing $2-4K off but now most vehicles are around $50-52k. I"ve also seen markups lately. Maybe they're getting ready for the 6th gen arrivals and attempting to recoup as much as possible.

One interesting note was that almost all the ones I saw for a while had KDSS which I'm not interested in. My most recent searches are showing less with KDSS. Hopefully Toyota ran out of the KDSS systems LOL.

 

2024 SR5 4WD $40,500 + tax two weeks ago, did not come with floor mats lol.

 

That's pretty awesome. What dealer did you buy from?

 

Mike Calvert Toyota, the same dealer that has 6K extra packages on every new 2024 Tacoma & Tundra.

Have also purchased more than a few Toyotas from them and worked with the same salesman 3 times now.

 

Please pm me the salesman...sounds like a good possibility to get a decent price.
