Found one for $100 on CL. Had it “plast dipped” to match as it was white and it was perfect. Have since sold it.

I found one used for $800 after the last one I was gonna buy fell through. But it’s a LEER. I’ve heard that they’re not as strong to mount track rails? I wanted to put a Prinsu rack to haul my kayaks.

Lolz, ok bro. You do know that calling someone a tool is personal, right? I really could care less what you think though. Also - You still can’t seem to grasp the concept that all toppers will leak if the bed corners are not sealed properly.

For the record - I do like the RSI SmartCap toppers, never said I didn’t. I may have gone that route if they were on the market when I got my Leer. Now, the only thing I would maybe sell my Leer for is a v2 GFC or a SuperPacific. Tempting…

I'm still waiting for mine. Dealer told me 3-4 weeks for delivery. Monday will be exactly 4 weeks since then. I knew it was going to be longer but hopefully soon!

    Anyway.
LEER 100XQ - $2695 colormatched paint, insulated roof, carpet headliner, dome light, etc.
removeable sliding rear window - $155
    keyless entry - $200
Thule roof tracks and Wingbar crossbars $595
Total - $3645 with installation, no sales tax in NH.

It'll be fine for a Prinsu and a couple Kayaks, and then some. There are pics here on TW of people with RTTs on LEERs.
LEER doesn't actually state the load rating of their roofs, they just use the specs of the actual racks mounted up there. So the capacity will change, based on the type of rack installed.

So what is needed to add a prinsu rack on here. It has the double thick roof. Just didn't come with rails or anything 20211007_134121.jpg

You drill holes for the roof tracks, fill them with silicone, and run your hardware through. It's very easy I just did it on mine, took maybe 90 minutes

Depending on options $800 is either a good deal or a fantastic one

I haven't gotten a topper (yet) but plan on it for some cross country travel.... sleeping in the back/mini rv ish concept, camp grounds, where ever... Might get one that has a pop up but they are hard to find.... not exactly sure but it's good to see the prices others are paying....

it seems like craigslist is not as used as it used to be??
... and FB Marketplace has kind of taken that spot for used stuff??

I think picked mine up for $725 on Craigslist if I remember correctly. Had to install myself, fix the brake lights and interior lights, but otherwise a good deal. Snug Top Rebel for long bed 3rd gen in white.

I got mine for 3K which paid first half down and paid other half on pick up day. Mine is a Leer XQ. It has led light inside including hooks in the ceiling with cargo net. After that, I replaced the Thule rack with Prinsu top rack.

Definitely shop around. I just ordered a ARE CX Classic for my ‘15 DCLB with sliding windoors, fold down sliding front window and carpet for $2,500 installed (not including tax). The next cheapest place I could find quoted me $2,800 for the same setup. Now just have to wait the 13 weeks for it to come in.
