Bump. It's now 2023, can we get a price update? Nitro gears alone are $1550.

I'm in VA and just got quoted $5500 from a very reputable shop for 5.29s and a front locker... without labor. Obviously, I started looking around which got me here. WTF is happening?

    [UPDATE]
After more conversation, I found out I'd be refunded $2200 if I sent the cores back. I've also decided I don't need the locker for basic forest service roads and camping so I'm taking off another $1400... way more reasonable now.
    [UPDATE]

That's why I paid for a 1 way ticket to another state when i bought my Tacoma in 2019. At the time, VA dealers were asking for $15k above MSRP.

Crazy. I bought my 2017 two years earlier 10% under MSRP.

ECGS quote from 2021 below. Should be able to get something close to that if you're willing to drive down to them just north of Raleigh, NC.

it's actually a little less than that because the 2.5 hours of shop labor was for installing the switch and wiring for the e-locker. I paid $2769 out the door for the regear when opting for 5.29s and no front locker. I'll also add that going with ECGS gives you a 5 year warranty for parts and labor.
