My butt doesn’t hurt one bit. But thank you wanting to check.

This is the thing about some Pro owners they seem incapable of noticing that gets them negative pushback on these forums: they feel that they belong to an elite group and everyone else must just be green with envy —or butt hurt, to use your scientific term.

Because there's strength in numbers. Same reason Truecar now exists. Dealerships hate customers sharing info like this.

I don't know that it's that difficult to understand. I'd use this thread to look for potential "soft" dealerships that may not try to use extortion when selling a Pro. It might save some time for someone looking for a Pro. I mean, right?

Edit: ... Once you've waded through the mountains of Pro hate of course

BTW, I always love the Pro hate. It's so raw and unctuously flavorful. It reminds me of good fresh salmon toro nigiri.

2018 MT, Toyoguard Platinum, Window tint, mud guards
    MSRP: $43,613
Price Paid: $40,800 (after all dealer fees, before I paid title/taxes in my own state)
State: Bought in North Carolina, live in Oregon.

Notes: This was early September 2018. Mid-State Toyota in Asheboro. Lowest price I found nationwide made it worth the trip, turned it into a cross-country road trip with my dad. They had a calvary blue MT on the lot they'd have let me had for the same price. Contacted probably 20 dealers. Many advertised prices that low and then told me that was before market adjustment when I called them.

    I'm pretty sure cement wasn't a color choice/option for 2018 and 2019 Pro.

I paid full sticker 47,596 (see uploaded sticker) I traded in a 2015 Tundra 1794 with 79K miles which I owned outright They gave me 33,500 which is higher by about 4K than two other dealers. Paid off the balance. This one drives beautifully. Tranny shifts smoothly and no brake shuttering. It's a fun ride

The 2016 TRD Pro 4Runner. I paid 42,500 and got 40,000 trade in for it almost 3 years later with 30k miles on it.

    I didn't realize there was a 2016 TRD Pro 4R

Wonder why they didn't do a Pro Taco in 2016?

Agreed. In October of 2016 there was one 2016 Limited left on a local Toyota dealer's lot. The dealer was willing to give me $3,500 off MSRP and $1,000 more in trade then the Toyota dealer across town was offering me. I took a test drive of the Limited, but wanted to think about it. Two days later I drive back to the dealer to purchase the 2016 and it had sold that morning. The sales manager offered me the same deal on any 2017 Limited on the lot. They had about 10 new trucks delivered that morning. I purchased my Limited that day with 2 miles on the odometer. If he would've offered my the same deal on an Off-Road, I would've taken it. All of the Pros in this area have the $5,000 mark-up on the window sticker for market adjustment. They are also loaded down with dealer add-ons, so the price is out of control.
