So I spent the last couple days shopping for a 2020 white pro in Southern California. Manhattan beach toyota, Santa Monica toyota, Santa Barbara toyota and North Ridge toyota are all guilty of advertising Msrp on autotrader AND their websites, only to call and find out there was between 10-15k markup.

that leaves me with custom ordering from longo at Msrp. Rough estimate is mid August delivery. I’ll probably pull the trigger on Tuesday, unless anyone local has suggestions of dealerships that are willing to show a little flexibility. I did consider the option of going out of state, but to save roughly 2k to either ship it home or drive it home... still need to ponder that some more.

Call or email them. There was a 5k mark up on my 20 AG Pro and it was gone in 2 emails. Just say there's no need to pay over MSRP that you can buy that truck at another dealer! Be stern and shop around!

Thanks for the heads up, looking for automatic so the fiancé can enjoy as well.

tried to go back to manhattan but they shot back. With a firm “no, we have other people already lined up and willing to pay the mark up”. Which is fine.. I have no problem waiting 3 months to save 5-15k of nonsense ‍♂️. Got to give it to longo for at least being straight shooters.

I may give Manhattan beach Toyota a shot. The lady said it’s coming in at the end of this week and they normally charge 5k up.

That's perfectly fine if they say no but money talks!! I had a couple of dealers say no too but eventually one of them will play ball. Don't be afraid to look a little outside your area as well. I bought my truck in a different county and was able to save on sales tax! I was originally hoping for $1500 or so under MSRP but that wasn't looking likely but I did save $1500+ in taxes so I was okay with it.

Vegas isn’t that far away. The dealers here are kinda douchey but I was able to talk them down to msrp for a trd pro. in the end I found a slightly used (850 miles) AG in Tennessee and had it shipped here. I was looking within about 500 miles and had a few dealers in the Phoenix area talked down just below msrp for the pro

What are yall paying for 2021 lunar rocks? At the dealer and they want 56... which is absurd.

San Diego, April 2018, paid just over $43K OTD, 2018 TRD Pro, Auto, Super White, no extras. Don't remember MSRP.

When I started looking at T4Rs and Tacos in early 2018, used 3rd Gen TRD OR DCSBs with <36k miles on the clock were listed for $38K+ (not including TTT) in So Cal. So, I bought new for about $5k more. Warranty, Toyota Care, and that new car smell! Also, the interest rates for new were far lower than used. Paid off last month...ended up almost even over the life of the loan.

I saw a Manual LR PRO advertised at MSRP at Culver city. I went to see it before opening time and it had the dreaded additional sticker... The price was $66K+ (This is no typo). The additional dealer markup was 15k+ and it came with the full accessories catalog to boot. I left before they opened...

I called a few days later. - Yes they were sticking to the full additional profit... someone likely paid it...

LR PRO Manual is a bot of a rare beast... I am working on securing mine!
