What do I do to lift my saggy rear. ;)

First, I know there's a ton of dialog here about lifting Tacoma's. But I can't decide on what to do for my 2022. I put a cap on (6' bed) and racks. I have a small camping set-up (removable when not in use) in it. Those items, really not sure what the weight is, have taken the factory rake away and leveled the truck. If I put my kayak on the racks, and have the camping setup full with what I need for a few days, the rear is about an inch lower than the front. IMO, the Tacoma's rear leaf springs are garbage. What the hell would it look like if I were towing something?

I can not decide what to do to fix this. Block spacers. Sumo Springs. Air Bags. Add-a-Leaf. One of my first thoughts is add-a-leaf, because nothing else truly takes the weight off the springs. Over time those springs will have a permanent droop. If I went that root, I was thinking just the single leaf (maybe Torch). Icon seems to be popular but those are a small stack and there's cutting of the factory clamps on the leafs which I'm totally against. Is a combo of add-a-leaf plus air bags a good idea? My thinking there is if the single add-a-leaf isn't enough for a full load, the air bags will help there. Plus could help give back some ride comfort I'd lose with just add-a-leafs.

Any input and suggestions welcome and appreciated. Thanks

    Oh look, another mod....
Try working out and doing squats. That'll surely fix that saggy rear you got.

I have a cap. I put Ride Rite bags on, 5 years ago. I got an "open box" deal on them, so figured I'd go that route until they crapped out. At some point I'll put new packs on, I guess, but the bags have been working fine. My opinion is the added leaf doesnt cut the mustard. I do a fair amount of mild off road driving.

I have the same issue and going to put on Deaver leaf springs after much research. Other brands will work but many of them squeak (per postings) and that would drive me nuts.

Install a 1in spacer in the rear, then when those rear leaves wear out someday , get some aftermarket leaf packs.

No actual reason that is backed by any real world metric or performance, just personal bias

    Work in progress...
I put on the 3 leaf add a leaf about 45,000 miles ago. When these suckers wear out I will probably buy another set of factory leafs, from buy sale trade on here, and add another 3 leaf add a leaf. I am saying it works for me, but I understand that 3 leaf add a leafs are not for everyone. Factory leafs are rubbish and a person is lucky if someone will haul them away for free. Matter of fact, if a guy is willing to take the low milage factory leaf packs off your hands you probably should include a case of beer with the springs.

Following for interest. I have full skids and a 6 ft cap and haul tools/etc and would also like to figure out a solution. I think when I put my sliders on it will be necessary

Roadmaster active suspension or Hellwig Helper springs will do what you want. Right price too.

    Reminds of my buddy's wife.

She wanted him to pay for a boob job. When he saw the price he offered her a free solution.

He told her, keep wiping toilet paper on your boobs until they got real big. It worked on your ass....
