I've been lurking for a while after picking up a new (new to me) 14 Tacoma with 39k on the dash. Although, I'm still trying to piece together what I've got.

Is it a sport or off road? Previous owner removed the decals. It's got the hood scoop to say a sport. I've got the diff lock, though.

Im not completely new to Tacomas as I had a 2000 sr5 during high school.

Post a pic of the buttons to the left of the steering wheel where the diff lock is. Also the buttons under the AC controls. I'd guess you have an offroad with a sport hood.

Based on the chrome bumper, black mirrors and handles and the diff locker you said it has, I'm guessing you have an off road with a sport hood. Congrats on new truck.

Check the vin too, that should tell you.

Either he put a sport hood on an off road or put a locker in a sport. Most likely the former.

Thanks guys. I've been thinking the same thing but figured I'd check with some people that know what they're doing here at TW.

Nice. I have a sport hood ready for painting but havent done it yet because I am debating McNiel fenders.

Thanks all! First up is to get those michelins replaced. Brand new tires but definitely not Tacoma worthy.

He has colour matched fender flares, too, though! The previous owner was committed to making that thing the cats ass! Best of both worlds! Nice truck, OP!

Its also possible somebody dropped both hood and locker into an sr5. Sr5 has matched fender flares.

He wouldn't have ATRAC if it was an SR5.

The OR has color matched flares. It's doubtful that someone swapped the OR package onto an SR5.
