Also, I've been rehabbing a city 2-flat. More difficult than I thought, esp. after my regular job which includes 15 hour flights to and from China.

The Mrs. has been hosting Mandarin classes at our home though. A little extra coin there helps.

Haven't done it in a while but in college I used to write other people's papers. Never science, those actually require work and I had enough of my own science to work on. But history, politics, social science... I had a small cottage industry going right there in my apartment. Usually made my rent money that way.

Try to work 1-2 extra 12hrs of OT a month. Also own a 4-plex with my brother so that keeps us busy (not taking an income from it, but will pay off when we sell).

PC work for people. I have a regular client base that keeps me a little busy with their issues. I try to make them less dependent on me but instead of listening, they'd rather pay me to come fix it. I wanted to quit and have raised prices two years running but it did not scare them away. I'm tired of working with clients and my job during the day doesn't involve any help desk stuff... all servers, SAN and VMware...

convince my wife to go in and ask for a significant raise. she is an IT director and very well compensated now, but frankly, and perhaps many TW members are anaware, but women really do make less then men, even in professional fields, in the workplace. as for me, i'm a union correctional officer, and the OT is aplenty if desired. we never close..........:D

Have you signed up with a ebay account ? I have done some selling on it and find that Craigslist is way easier. But with e bay you will also have to sign up with a pay pal. after that they take you step by step. make sure you charge the correct shipping amount so you dont get screwed.
