My windshield rubber is coming undone.
Is there a part number for this?

Also what is that rubber strip we use on the edge of the roof rack to help reduce noise?

I think Toyota call that “Reveal Moulding”.
I’ve seen it called “Upper windshield moulding” by other places.

There is a special glue for that weatherstrip.

It may depend on the roof rack, but for Prinsu racks the rubber piece is called the Noise Reducing Edge Trim. I had to put a new one on mine in the past.

what does windshield trim have to do with a roof rack

    edit: nvm I see

OP, Hooke Road racks likely make more noise than other racks
that's an old design with gaps. People have taken to making pieces to fill those gaps, or other racks.

Noise trim is edge trim. Cheap ones from Autozone fall off, even with adhesive.

There shouldn't be. It has a C-shaped channel that is fit around the perimeter of the glass before it gets installed on the vehicle.

Any aftermarket glass supplier will sell a new one (or OEM too) but trying to install it with the glass already in place is going to be tricky because as you squeeze it to fit one edge, you'll end up with excess as you get towards the end.

    Thanks for the replies all.

Im going to "Try" to re-install it, and get the Noise Reducing Edge Trim for the roof rack.

@TacoTuesday1 Yes I agree, it is noticeable. >.>
