I got started on installing the AUX battery today by starting with electrical stuff behind my rear seat.
No power back there yet but got the AUX fuse panel,HAM radio & power USB plug. Still need to add two 12v outlets.

I went out that evening and ripped my plastic crap out. I didn't have to remove anything to do it. Removed screws and popped them out.

I keep a lot of shit in mine, tools, field guides, tomahawk, machete, compressor, tire patch kits, first aid and more I am forgetting.

For those of you that've removed the plastic from the back- Do you think there's any more road noise coming in? This looks like a good idea.

I found it was louder while I had the inserts out

The other thing I didn't like about just having them out was everything you put back there was just heaped up , I prefered to reorganize the inserts , but if I decided to leave the inserts out I would rig up some plywood backing piece back there to screw Quickfists or the like to secure stuff and utilize the vertical space

This is probably a stupid question but I cannot figure this out...what is that bracket for in the driver's side compartment? Is it supposed to hold something? A flashlight? What?
