I go to a lot of estate sales. Mostly looking for Vinyl records. Love collecting records. It kind of got me into collecting vintage audio gear.
It takes up lots of space.

Because of the space required to store it all I have gotten away of the audio gear. But still buy the boom boxes.

I have various old toys and lots of
Train stuff. Locomotives and cabooses. And complete sets.

Lately I have been turning anything and everything into lamps so that requires a collection of random junk

    What do you collect

Pokemon cards. Not huge into collecting, but have a decent amount. Mostly to spend time with my kids. It's a great game, involves strategy, art, math, and other things. Also it gets us away from ipads and television.

There was a brief time that I collected jukeboxes. Got one to fix up for my kid.
One lead to 10. You run out of room real fast
But I did learn to repair them it was fun.
And I have boxes full of 45's still

There is a big one in Bricktown of you can't make it this way. I can send you a glass for your collection. I am sure you would rather have the beer

Appreciate the offer, we have a rule, we have to drink their beer to own the glass. If I'm ever that way I'll check it out though.

    Rocks and ex-wives.

Actually it's rocks to throw at ex-wives.... Not really, geodes, quartz crystals, old glass for stain glass projects. Too old and downsizing so I have been told to get rid of my "junk". As my dad said "junk is what you keep for 20 years and throw out a week before you need it." Anyone want 5 pounds of rivets for a B52 fuselage? The man never tossed anything and now I have to do it.

I just cleaned out my software collections, really who needs DOS 1.1 on one sided 5.25 floppy discs? 12 versions of Lotus, 14 of Office, 25 of adobe products, a thousand games I never got around to playing and probably won't run on modern equipment - plus cables, cases, mice, keyboards - took three trips to the local school recycle site. Ever seen a nerdgasm? I did.
