I've collected and still collect lots of random things... Tools, Car Parts, Cars (I had 6 at once), I probably have $10k in video game stuff... I'll find something else to collect soon... I want to start collecting real estate.

Found a couple of coke bottles on my property. I think they are 1942 and 1943. Makes me wonder what else I'll find out there.
Personally, I have a bunch of coins. Some old, some new.

All kinds, 9 Xbox 360s, 3 Game Cubes, 7+ PSPs, 3 Wii, Game boy, GB Pocket, 2-3 GB Color, 2 GB Advance, SP, Micro, a few variants of the DS, a couple N64. Original Game Boy external battery pack. Lots of games and more stuff I can't remember. I need to clean it out but that would take too long and I'm not sure how much of it still functions. I don't even play anymore, the wife is more fun. The $10k is a rough estimate of original retail... current value is way lower.

I'd have to look but off my head..Sega Master System, Panasonic 3DO, 2 Atari 2600s, SNES, Playstation, PS2, NES Classic..and a buttload of games.

    Similarly I don't play much..just life is different from when I was 23 now that I'm 43.

I've got quite a card collection. A few thousand football cards, including the entire 1997 and 2004 Topps production collections. Although I haven't bought any in probably 15 years, I collected them a lot as a kid. I'm considering toting them down to a local shop and seeing what I can get for them. I also have a few complete sets of MLB cards too, but I'm hanging on to those (gift from great grandma when I was born). I also have buckets and buckets of legos, if that counts lol. Few buckets of matchbox cars, but not their collectibles, just general ones.

Currently, the closest thing I have to a "collection" is mini police cars. Like, the ones you see at gas stations, or novelty shops that have the wind up wheels. Usually on a rack with tons of sports cars for little kids to play with.

One day I saw a cop car Nissan GTR one, and thought "ehh kinda cool, I'll buy it." Then I saw a cop car dune buggy and did the same. Now I have the following cop cars:
    -GTR
    -1967 Camaro
    -Mustang
    -VW Beetle
    -Dune Buggy
    -Lamborghini Countach
-Crown Vic (gotta do it lol)
    -Tow Truck

and a couple more I can't remember. Every time I see one I don't have, I buy it. They're usually nice and cheap, so the wifey doesn't mind the collection. Plus if I have kids they'll love em lol.

I don't really have a list but at the moment to round out my current collection I'm waiting on the Santa Cruz/SMA Natas reissue "Psycho Cat" board to be released (which I pre-ordered) and then I'll have all three that they've done so far. I got my Natas "Kitten" deck and it's siiiiiiick. All of them are, actually because they did metalic dips on the boards and used real screen printing for the graphics so they are extremely nice in person to look at.

Only thing... I haven't hung them yet on my walls. I have them stacked in my bedroom on top of my book shelf. I really need to get some mounting hardware... :anonymous:

After I get these (and the pre-order) up, I think I'm pretty much done. There are one or two other boards I'd like to get but they are either extremely rare or just not really worth hunting.
My first "pro" deck was the Vision "Lobster Fantail" which was just a team board.
The other board I'd like to have is the Blind Skateboards Jason Lee "Burger King" deck. That one is considered a "grail" board for collectors though and just the original t-shirt is on ebay right now for over $400... which is pants-on-head retarded. Knowing Rocco's ever present sense of wanting to make money, I wouldn't be surprised if some day they reissued that thing.

Totally! I don't have a big collection or very many originals but they are all boards that I care about one way or another so that's what matters to me.

Did you get a chance to see that traveling Jim Phillips/Screaming Hand art show with all the homages to the SH? It came through Phoenix last year and was badass. I got wasted at the gallery!
Ended up getting a Michael Sieben deck and then a screen printed Dirty Donny print that I framed because of that show. I'm a designer/artist so it was amazing to see JP and the other's work up close.

Pushead is one of my other major design/art influences. There was a charity show in Portland, Oregon I went to over a decade ago that had a one-off hand painted/inked deck by Pushead and it was amazing to be able to get close and look at his stippling work. I love the crossover between skateboarding and punk from those old days and Pushead did a shitload of cool posters for a LOT of very influential bands.

I do have to admit that one other thing I collect is skateboarding books. I have the obvious ones like Disposable, the Independent Built to Grind book and the Jim Phillips artwork collection but I have some of the newer stuff like the Big Brother book SHIT and the Jenkem book. I need more...

Oh my god I'm a dick and never responded...! I think I posted the relevant pic in the "Old Skaters/Punks" thread, though.
The irony is I've bought more than a few other boards since this was posted, LOL.
The New Deal re-launching set me back a few bills since I got like 3 boards at once. Can't wait for those to show up.
