My wife and I have our CCW class next week. We both shoot Glock 19's. I was just wondering what you folks are carrying out there.

Since the latest tragedy my wife wants to get her ccw and learn to shoot. If she ever gets comfortable enough to carry, I'd probably suggest a hammerless revolver.

I have big hands. how well does it work in bigger hands? I have a glock 23 and love it but its tough to carry in waist. is the g36 slimmer than the g26.

For a "fun gun" it's pretty cool, but seriously, it's best use is loaded with snakeshot.

The 410 is just too small to be a serious defensive load.

Also keep in mind that, even for non-residents, it's a felony to possess one in California. The DOJ considers it an SBS unless it has been imported configured and registered as an AOW.

A little slimmer, but only 6 rounds.

Tried the CrossBreed Supertuck holster? The G26 goes completely stealth and after a week you'll forget that you're wearing it.

I carried the G30 forever. 10 in the mag, one in the pipe.
Switched to a G36. It's single stack 6+1. Love it, just a tad bit more compact.

Wolfpack is right. Lots of people have the "pinky pinch" problem including myself. Went with a pierce +1 grip and floorplate and solved the problem plus got an extra round, 7+1.

LOL!! Depending on how warm it will be outside. The G26 is the smallest, so its the "Shorts & T-shirt" weapon, while the Sig is the "Winter" weapon. I prefer a 9mm sub compact to a 45 subbie, as Guns & Ammo did some testing a while back, and found that the 45 ACP round, when fired out of a 3" bbl., doesnt have enough velocity for reliable expansion in many defense rounds, and that some rounds velocities were as low as 600 fps.
