S&W 38 snubbie - the most oomph I can carry in my pocket comfortably. And if it's not comfortable, I'm leaving it at home. Been carrying it for close to 10 years now.

Have a CCW and carry a Sig 229 sometimes in .357 sig, sometimes in .40 cal. Its nice to have interchangeable barrels in one frame.

Old tech. Unreliable expansion, particularly after penetrating denim or leather.
I've had several cops tell me that they should arrest me for buying the Hydrashoks :D

The HST is a good replacement if you prefer Federal.
Personally, I will trust my life to Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST, or Winchester Ranger SXT (Black Talon without the black coating)

None whatsoever. The pierce +1 is proven. You can get it in the +1 or the +0. I got the pinky pinch bad. (long guitar playing fingers) I just wanted to eliminate that and I had read about it long before I even got the G36 so I knew it could have been a possibility. It was.

I had blood blisters pretty bad but I go to the range pretty frequent. The pierce +1 was a godsend.

I went with the +0 for my '26 and it works just fine. Keeps the grip basically the same length from a concealment aspect due to the grip angle in the holster.
Don't think I'd want to use a +2... may as well just carry my XD at that point.

I have a couple +1's and +2's on my G26 mags, and am quite happy with them.

My +1 .45 is in the glove box of the taco. I only use it when I go to the mall.
