I think "the judge" should come with a backbrace so you actually can carry it.

I personally think the compact Glock models are all too "fat". They are double stack, however, which explains why. As my duty weapon being a Glock I do carry the 27 as a back up because my magazines interchange. But off duty I carry a Kahr PM40. It's ultra slim, .40 cal, and packs one hell of a punch. I'm a smaller guy and I also wear tighter fitting clothes (for the ladies). I can conceal my Kahr wearing anything.

It's 5 in the stack, one in the tube...and if it aint dead after I pump 6 .40 cal rounds into it...then it's probably a dragon. And let's face it, none of us here are straight up shooting a dragon with a pistol.

    i usually carry a G26 loaded with 124gr Federal HST's, sometimes a PF-9 with the same ammo

sometimes in the winter i'll carry my G21SF with or w/out a light on it if i'm in the mood lol

the G36's are cool but i'm not really down with the super low muzzle velocities the short barrels yeild with 45acp, it's already slow, chuck it out of a short barrel and you'll be lucky to push 700fps

By well protected, I mean I have full confidence in the ability of local law enforcement to keep me and my family safe.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

So I just looked up the weight... turns out that the judge weighs less than my sig 229. I have to say that I'm shocked. If the thing weren't so wide I might just consider CC'ing it because of the weight.

That's what I carry as well. Got the wife and I both an SR9C so if she needed to, she'd be able to pick up either and still know how to handle it. I have larger hands, so she got both 10 round mags, and I took both 17's for mine.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I leave the 10 round in mine most of the time. The 17 round is in the gun when at the house. I keep hollow points in it at all times though.

I'm going to get my first pistol here soon, debating between a (used) Sig P229 or a CZ P-06 (both in .40 S&W.)

Can't really argue with Sig quality, but everything I've read about the P06 is positive which makes it difficult....and they're roughly the same price which makes it more difficult haha.
