I know alot of you have bitched about the colthed armrest, but I don't think I've seen anyone complain about how low they seem to be. I'm only 5'8 and they seem low to me.

I had a 2008 prerunner double cab and I liked the door pockets on that one better than on my current 2010 DC.

The map pockets were changed so side impact ratings would go up from a 4 star to 5 star. There is a larger energy absorbing pad on the door panels of 2009+ models.

Just tell them how down and out you are with money as your mom and dad were killed in a car accident and you had to pay for the funeral and help raise your 3 year old sister and 4 year old brother and you just have to do the best you can. That should get you to first base...after that your on your own...by the way keep a dog with you at all times so they can see how harmless you are...good luck...LOL:D

Crappy stock tires, even though my dad has 70,000 on the rear duelers... Leaf springs creak, and the composite bed. Throttle by wire. Squeaky A/C fan. No illuminating 4x4 switch, also no manual shift lever like in the first gens. Probably other things, but I love the Tacoma

Front seats suck for long trips. More lumbar support is needed.

Visibility could be lots better. The sloped hood of the hilux would be a good start.

    Junky stock leaf springs

    Tailgate doesn't lock

Nevertheless, the positives outweigh the negatives by a LOT.

    Lights, Tires, Wheels,...more to come!
    -MPG
    -Drum brakes
-???Toyota quality, minor underbody rust & squeaks from leaf springs(drives me nuts)
    -No black interior option
    -No cargo lights
-Prefer more power/torque, but its a midsize so I don't expect big power ever.

.............still only truck I would consider in midsize market and over some fullsize too.

More permanent paint on the underside. No point now, fixed it myself but it would be nice from the factory.

    Beefier bumpers.

Rock hard paint job. Bullet proof

Locking tailgate. Fixed that one myself too. Electric.

More comfy seats in the back of the access cab. I hear there really uncomfortable but I don't care, buy you own damn truck then or walk.

    Forgot one.

That bash pan on the front is useless, My GM had 1/4 steel plate there. I think they could do slightly better than what is there now.

I didn't look to see what you drive but I have a 2010 access 4 cyl and the wife and I took it to Florida and the seats never got uncomfortable. In fact when either one of us laid the passenger seat back we were out like a light.

I hate that I need (or it's recommended) to have new UCAs for a small 2.5-3" lift.

and that my rear differential fill bolt is rounded..
