    My biggest gripes,
No intermittent wipers (fixed that thanks to TW members)
No window tint ( first mod I did to the truck so that's done)
Not enough D Rings in the bed (work in progress).
    Terrible Radio
No deal beaters, I love the truck. It's like a spaceship compared to my 99 Ranger

    Gripes about the '16:
First: Yes, the grill leaves some to be desired, but I also think that I don't love the grill just because so many people on here talk shit about it. That probably ruined it for me.
    The real stuff:
-No home-link on mirror, which is common for baseline cars in some brands.
-Only 5 preset addresses possible for navigation, which you can't initiate unless in park.
-Key Fob locking issues. When a door is open or ajar, the vehicle won't lock, which is a good thing. Whats bad is that it lets out a loud beep for about 7 seconds. When the door that was open is then shut, the vehicle does not lock automatically. I have a pretty baseline impreza that will yell at you for a few seconds if you try to lock it with a door open, but once that door is closed, the car locks… seems like common sense.
-Lack of space in the double cab. I have two kiddos, both rear facing, which is clearly the most space consuming way to position a car seat in a seat. I get that. I take issue with the fact that I am only 5'8" (almost lied and said 5'9"…wtf) and my seat is slammed back against the car seat. If I were two inches taller, or perhaps if my legs were longer in proportion to my torso, shit would get uncomfortable fast in the driver's seat. So really, not an issue for me, I'm just protective of you tall dudes out there who I assume would be uncomfortable.

The tacoma is something I've wanted for 15 years. I was rolling around in my sister's corolla back in the day and just fell in love with the first DC's I noticed back then. I finally reached a point in my life where I am able to afford such an amazing truck and I'm stoked on that. all that is to say that the above gripes are ALL I could think of, and I ride around in that thing with a huge smile on my face everyday. The truck is just awesome. I took a day off work just to be the one who picked my relatives up from the airport so I could show it off in the light of day!

I have 2014 Tacoma TRD and was at the dealer yesterday and I asked about that and said it was because of the type of fuel injectors/lifters.

The low seating and the gray interior.
Seating most of all. It's tolerable and fine for daily driving but my F250 is much better for long trips.

I hate the fact that my 2015 DCLB TRD Sport does not have an outside air temperature gauge.

Bumping an old thread because I have to get this off my chest. I drive with my dominant hand (left) at 12 o’clock. Not trying to look cool or anything it’s just the most comfortable for me and I’m use to driving a manual around town so that’s how I drive. With my hand at that position with the steering wheel all the way up I can not see the top of the speedometer. I drive slow on the highway so the needle stays at the top of the speedo. In order to see exactly how fast I’m going I must lift my hand to see the speedo. Pic included of my struggle.

    Weak tailgates.
Seats that have the damn mesh on it and all the crumbs go in there never to be removed.
Gas Mileage could be better, let's be honest.
No stock V8 or diesel option.
    EVERY PART IS $200+.
4x4 switch not lighted from stock.
No ignition switch light like on tundras.
    Needs more switch banks :D
Wish the steering wheel telescoped more than a .125"

Best Vehicle I've ever owned hands down.

-Confused transmission sometimes (mine supposedly already had the updated flash.

-I wish it had more TQ, and we didn’t have to rev it so hard to get it going.

-MPG’s on par with my former 2015 Hemi Ram CC 4x4 with full exhaust, that I used to drive like I stole it! Our much smaller and lighter V-6 Tacos should get better mpg’s than a 395 HP V-8, pretty crappy, just sayin...:puke:

    -Non adjustable up/down seat.

-Squeaky dash near right A Pillar (fixed with foam tape).

-Non automatically locking tailgate with the fob!

-No rear arm rear in center of bench seat.

On a different note I do like how nimble the Taco is compared to the big ram. Parking is a hell of a lot easier too and wheeling it is a great time.

The fact that it has literally 11 cup holders that are all the same size and not one that accommodates a larger cup.
