What do you do for work?

:Homer:

 

Electrician - of sorts. I work in film/television. We power the sets and use lighting to make actors/scenes look pretty. This job is the main reason I am purchasing a 4x4 Tacoma. I never know what conditions I'll find myself in, from sandy beaches to snowy mountains here in the NY metropolitan area.

 

Just got a new job as a Process Engineer at a forge. We make a ton of aircraft and industrial turbine parts.

 

Environmental Scientist

 

AND I REMOVE INSULATION / ASBESTOS OFF PIPES IN REFINERYS VIA ROPE ACCESS FOR YOU GUYS

 

Im in the CIA haha just kiddin I work for the city of modesto here in California

Retired from the Medical supply sales/distribution industry working part time as a Mail clerk. Life is great

 

Underground dry utility draft and design for residential and commercial.

 

I work for a company that manufactures LED lights.

 

Currently working as an insurance agent while going to college, but seriously considering joining the coast guard!

 

I'm an intern at an IT company. Not a bad gig if you ask me.

 

finish college first, then go in as an officer. life will be much better for you.

 

I'm a commission artist. I draw peoples dogs and cats and kids in return for $$$$$.

 

That's cool man! I would love to be able to make a living with my art work. Maybe someday I will be good enough to join the ranks of freelance artists, but for now....

My occupation is Night shift supervisor in a drinking water treatment facility.

Hey, that's not too shabby. What's it like working a night shift?

 

Mechanical Engineer for a company that designs and manufactures heavy duty forestry equipment. More specially I design tracked feller bunchers/harvesters/shovel loggers.

 

Night shift has its pros & cons.
The coolest thing is no one looking over your shoulder, and when things are going smoothly I get a little free time to draw lol.
The worst is when things go south it's very hard to get anyone in if you need help.
It can also be hard on relationships.

I'm always drawing, painting, or wood carving. I have ADD so I tend to jump track a lot

 

Finally started my own business doing property and construction management. Got tired of working for other dudes. I have a few other partnerships too one where I sell solar electric systems (this was my previous line of work), also I am buying rentals with a partner and on rainy days I day trade, mostly binary options on forex. Stay busy and productive everyday and everyday is different, I do enjoy working from home or close to it and doing a few different things. I think diversity is the key to stability.
