Was working construction until about a month ago. Today is my third day on the job as a special needs bus assistant for Virginia Beach Public Schools. Love it so far! I help special needs children get on and off the bus, hook them up, (wheelchairs, harnesses, car seats, etc) and keep them happy/safe during the ride to and from school. Making a little more than I was making doing construction, but I'm not destroying my body. Woot!

Haha I work for Chick-fil-A's menu development. Basically if a new item is in test or rolling out, I am the point of contact between the ingredient supplier and the developer chefs.

Started week four today. (Monday being a holiday, of course) Still loving it, and I've applied for summer school.
My goal is to do at least two and a half years as an assistant and then the city will pay for me to get my CDL. Then I'm trying to get into the garage and work on the buses. Gotta have a CDL for that. Only reason I can't just do it now is because the city wants you to have had your regular license for five years before they will pay for you to get your CDL, and I've only had mine for two and a half years, (when I was nineteen) because I couldn't afford to pay for driving class back then.
