CVS opened a new DC in NY, about 300 miles from me. If I were to go there, I'd be stuck at their rate, which is about half of what I make now.

I pretty much watch people work and make sure they do it right. The carriers come in for a 25year tune up and the work that is done I oversee portions of it.

Was a Mechanical Designer and have done design work for NASA and the DOD. Now I manage a sheet metal and weld fabrication shop of about 70 people. I can run the plasma tables, saws, shear, press brakes and plate rollers as well as MIG weld. The management side of things is new and interesting to me. So much planning goes into all our projects that can be small and ship in a few days to multi-millions of dollars setting up entire plants and take years.

Well, I could be but I really like them haha. I'm 29, have an 11 year old. I'm paid well, but I invest my money, save for the little one and was traveling. Bought a house last week so now my spare money is obsolete haha.

You ghetto ass Tacoma drivers. Amazing how much you post, with your meager wages and poor life decisions forcing you to whore your ass.

I worked on a few Walmart remodels and stacked my fair share of boxes in freezers. Of course, I was just as likely to be out on the floor installing shelves or outside on the pallet jack loading and unloading trailers. Not a bad job with the exception of my coworkers. I was also a people greeter for a bit, had a lot of fun with that.

I've also worked in a Subway, a BBQ joint, a summer camp, a university recreation facility, a municipal parks and recreation department in various capacities, a rock climbing and backpacking guide, and now back at the university while i'm back in school.

Ugh, i'm in MBA Financial Reporting right now as part of my grad program and i'm struggling. I am not envious of you one bit!

Ha - way above my skillset! What I do helping entrepreneurs is more of an art than a science. Pretty sure I never want to look at an Intermediate Accounting textbook ever again!

    Good luck with your career!
