Wife is in her last semester of accounting. She plans to continue her education and be a CPA
Books were $1100 for this semester alone. And people wonder why these kids graduate with huge debt loads.:smack:

That’s why I’m glad mine had her GI Bill to use. It covered all but one semester of her MBA (maybe $3-4K) and we had to pay for books that weren’t completely covered by the stipend every semester.

I couldn't agree more. Consider yourself lucky that she chose the accounting profession. No shortage of work for a CPA. She could be getting a history or psych degree.

Highly recommend Becker CPA review for her when the time comes. It's expensive but well worth it.

That’s what my wife used. Bonus for her was the school recommended it and had a class that provided the materials at a steep discount.

I’m a water resource engineer working in our hydrology group. We work with the wildlife biologist in our natural resources group all the time.

Great industry to be in

Agreed. Some of my colleagues collaborate with SFPUC currently. When I was a consultant I worked on the New Irvington ? Tunnel - NIT project for SFPUC.

I regularly work with engineers on Capitol projects.

    Cheers.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Finally got a full time gig doing what I've dreamed about since middle school, despite my family's wishes. I am now a fully dedicated local truck driver for a small livestock feed company near town. Hourly pay and home every night, I didn't even have to get stuck doing OTR like I feared I would. I had a brief job at the end of the summer driving a gravel belly dump for a road construction outfit, but that fell through due to early winter arrival and I was laid off after a month so didn't get much seat time as I wanted.

Truck is a 2007 International 9200i day-cab, 10spd and Cummins ISX engine with just over 360k miles.
Trailer is a 42' aluminum auger tanker, with one auger in the belly as well as a vertical auger that can swing out, be raised and lowered depending on where the product needs to be unloaded via remote control. Has 8 seperate bins total, and the gates are operated by cranks along the driver's side flank of the trailer. The SP stickers are there for my and the company I work for's privacy, sorry!
