Worked for a pipeline company doing cctv inspections and rehabilitation on sewer mains and manholes for 7 years right out of high school.

Now I recently started my new career working for my local county at a wastewater treatment plant about a month ago. 62C5DB6A-71BB-41B1-8AA8-9D74078B3849.jpg

Wow, pretty cool jobs some of you have. Shout out (and thank you) to those keeping the population safe right now.

I'm a photographer. With that said, all of my jobs have been postponed or cancelled so I'm using this time to do some tidying up of old projects, website, etc. Pretty fun career so far.

I am a Water Systems Utility Operator Level 3/Backhoe Operator. We also do sewer line repair, maintenance, and new main/tap/manhole installations. On the water side it's mainly maintenance, leak repairs, and new tap/line installations. We also take care of our surface water supply and have an additional water source that is pumped to our filter plant which is around 40 miles long.

To quote you Kanaka, last year I took my Wastewater System Operator Level 2 test in September and just missed passing it. What kind of plant are you operating and what is your daily flow?
