I'm a certified API (American Petroleum Institute) inspector/project manager for a small inspection company. I manage a handful of chemical plants in our area that we have contracts in and complete inspections on piping/pressure vessels/storage tanks as needed. Most of the time I just have to make sure the customer's are happy and our employees are doing what is needed.

I work IT in the energy sector, mostly end user support at the moment but really enjoy analyst work on systems and software upgrades/implementations.

After 20 years split between being a diesel mechanic and semi-trailer wreck rebuild mechanic I shifted gears at 40 and and now do physical therapy in the hospital as a PTA. I'm the guy who drags you out of bed after the docs put the pieces back together. Getting ready to treat patients in Covid ICU below.

I used to be a beer salesman... that was quite fun and plenty of free beer! It's been hard to get used to having to pay for beer since I changed career paths, but a career change was needed or else the liver would have been in trouble!

I'm retired at age 69. (30 years as a teacher-10 years as an Insurance Agent) I usually spend my time trying to avoid doing what my wife wants me to! Bought a Winnebago Minnie Winnie 22r. I spend some of my time planning our next RV trip or working on the RV. Or heading to the desert to target shoot with my buddies. Or having a beer with my buddies. Tomorrow I go on an Ebike ride ride with 60 of my neighbors visiting 4 local breweries in 92131. Always time for an afternoon nap!
