    I do explosive testing. :boom:

I'm the instrument tech and setup all the equipment (flash x-rays, high-speed digital cameras, gauges, and data acquisition systems primarily). I also get the pleasure of sitting in the searing heat and freezing cold measuring the targets we shoot (upto 1000s of measurements :frusty: :bored:).

And as they say, "I could tell you more...but then I would have to kill you".

hehe...I don't work for WSMR. There's more than one explosive testing facility in NM. I work for EMRTC; it's part of NMT (http://www.emrtc.nmt.edu).

Sounds like a great job. Maybe I can take you up on that, I will be on Maui for a week starting on March 24, before going to Pearl and Kanehoe Bay.

I'm an enginner with a small company in Anchorage that designs fueling systems for aircraft. We do a lot of work for the military. The good part (and the bad part) is that I get to travel a lot. I have been to Japan, Korea, Hawaii, Guam and a lot of the Lower 48.
