Jack of all trades, master of ONE; Electrician. Licensed in 3 states, as a Master in 2. I fix things from 30+ year old CNC milling machines with punch tape programing to installing and commissioning VFDs, installing PLCs, and fire alarm systems and a little programming for both. Latest project is for a town well: New service, generator, and a motor control center that replaces 2 reduced voltage motor starters, and the high(480v)and low(208v) panels. And it all gets connected to and existing and re-located SCADA wireless system.

SCADA: "Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition," is very cool stuff.

I just changed job descriptions. I am now a project engineer at the Dallas Convention Center Hotel. I am still doing more than my fair share of estimating work, but now I get the excitement of submitals and RFI's thrown in.

I'd actually like to help more on the field side of things, but I'm making the easy transition for now.
