    how hard is it to get into something like that.

    I work in IT for a college right now.. and my dream has always been to fly however i found out how hard it is to become a pilot of fighter jets. ( wow i sound like a kid) but yeah im interested in something like that. what kind of schooling? and such..

    tried this route last year, it was going to be super difficult to get sponsored to get the required visa.

I have a degree in teaching, but retired after three long years. Might would give it another shot one day, but trying to get back into the oil industry as of now. ​
