Waste water treatment operator/technician. Do you like the show "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe? It's stinky and nasty but it pays well and probably the most stable job out there as long as people keep flushing their toilets.

You are close to Intel. I used to work in the semiconductor industry, they are always hiring operators.

No, need a job in the low volt industry. I need to get my hours so I can go take my state test.

The company I work for now does contract work with TQ (Triquent Semiconductor), but they decided to not spend anymore money which makes our work load extremely slowwww.

This is the reason I got out of the high tech field, it is so economy driven. If you are young, look into Bonneville Power Administration's apprenticeship program. I wish I would have done that years ago. If you have low voltage experience, you probably have a head start on other applicants. Just a suggestion.

The first thing I learned was to keep my mouth closed. I have been crapped on a bunch also. I was amazed at what people flush down the toilet when I started.
