I installed the TRD exhaust on my DCLB TRD OR last weekend. I read all the mixed reviews on it but I have to say, it hits the sweet spot for me. No drone, louder when on the throttle but still quiet when cruising through the neighborhood. Enough about that. What do you all do with your stock exhaust once it's been replaced? Mine is brand new. Sell it? Scrap it? Recycle it?

    Yes. Sell, Recycle, Scrap.

Kinda depends on how long you want to hold on to it and how many $$ you want for it.

Me. I'd haul it to the local scrap metal place to recycle and pocket a few $$ from scrap price.
I don't like crap laying around.....its always in the way.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think I'll list it on Craigslist today and if no takers, I'll scrap it tonight. A one piece long bed exhaust takes up a ton of room in the garage. :) If anyone is interested in it, let me know.

I still have mine for when my aftermarket exhaust rusts out. I’d say it’ll rust out in about 1 more year

I actually just bought a stock one locally for $50. I bought my truck used and it came with an AFE Performance XP and was just a little too loud for my taste. Only thing I don't like with the stock is where the exhaust tip terminates. the AFE was the "high tuck" version where it terminates up high by the rear leaf hangar which was really cool because you couldn't even see it and I could imagine was great for clearance during off-roading.

Now the AFE is just sitting in my garage...

Use a sawzall and bob the tip.:sawzall:
