ok but i guess the part im confused on, is like on autoanything.com, the ccfl halo by spyder, both pairs say with led lights? and yet i know that ccfl and led headlights are totally different. Im looking for the the ccfl spyder halo headlights similar to what aubi1414 posted on his truck but the ccfl, i dont want the led version ones, but was told u can get them on autoanything.com, these were the ones i was thinking were the nice ones PRO-YD-TT05-CCFL-BK, and these say ccfl with led lights?

I not a big fan of the halo's and the led lights. I'm more into the clean look of the factory lights blacked out. I've got a set of Anzos sitting in my office floor right now that were on my truck less than 2 hrs. I decided to do the BHLM and never put these back on. I never even drove the truck with them on other than down my street and back while I was adjusting them. Guess I'll sell them sometime.

    Anzos

Did the BHLM on my factory lights just so they wouldn't have the reflectors and painted them to match my grill and lower valance

I think if they say ccfl halos with LEDs they are talking about the outer strips that light up around the edge of lens are led and the rings around the projectors are ccfl.

ya i think that sounds right, because this guy said about the ones he had that i really liked to get the ccfl version which is what he had not the led version and said they were on autoanything and when i looked at the sets even the ones that said ccfl still said with leds but sounds right bout the outer strips that light up

You will def find that people on here love or hate them. Just do what you like, thats all that matters. Personally I like them, hence I bought a set. lol

That being said, There is a trade off for looks over performance. They are def not as good a headlight as the stock lights. Grant it with a decent set of bulbs and some adjusting they are ok. Many complain of fogging on here. I have never had a problem with mine. I did seal all boots and plugs on the back with black silicone prior to install. Mine have never leaked or fogged, and I run her thru the car wash twice a week or more.

If you have the option Id go with the ccfl halos, I have the LED halos and you cant see them in the daylight. They look good at dusk or at night though.
    Just my 2cents

CCFL means they are cold cathode flourescent instead of led. This refers to the halo's around the lights only. The bulbs are standard halogen. I have them on my truck and dgaf what other people think.

Don't get my wrong I like the looks of them but for the money I don't think the performance is there. If you're looking for just the blackout look and don't mind a bit more DIY work, I'd go with with BHLM. This will probably be my next project after I replace my control arm bushings.
