What do you have your OME BP-51s set at?

sub'd for later response about my BP51s and the settings

 

Reviving an old thread but I’m planning to order BP-51s today. I’m thinking 15mm preload on the passenger side, 17mm on the drivers. Thoughts?



Alum bumper, synthetic winch line, steel sliders, aluminum skids(full).

 

I’m at 13 driver and 12 passenger with no extra weight. I also have a .5 in spacer on driver and .25 on passenger.

 

I have the BP 51s I have arb bumper 9500k winch front rci skid and sliders.
20mm of preload after a month they sagged an 1 inch had to use a spacer to get myift back.
They ride great. But once these crap out I'll. Be going with dobison.

 

Interesting that they sagged that much. What spring do they put with them? 885s?

 

From what I read they have a higher spring rate then 886s

 

I doubt that very much. I’m running 886s right now (until my BPs come in a week or two) and they are stiffffffff

 

How much weight do you have? I had 886s and they rode nice.

 

Not enough for 886s, I just got them secondhand from a friend after I added my winch and bumper and the 885s were not quite cutting it.
