what do you keep in the rear bed storage compartments?

It's an old recurring SNL skit from the early 90's. They're talking about small pockets and other tiny compartments and wondering what to do with them.

 

Dog leashes
Folding water dishes for the dogs
retrieving dummies for the dogs.

Hmm I see a theme here.

 

nothing.im to lazy to put my tie downs away so they just flop around the bed

always have at least 3 ratchet tiedowns, came in handy on multiple occassions they from harbor freight so who cares if they get wet.

I have some tie downs in there, I might put some of my old tools in one of them, I'm just worried some ass clown would steal my stuff

 

First thing I did when I got my truck was to remove them and throw them out, so nothing for me.

 

Some bungee cords are in there, and my bike mounts were in there until I got my toolbox. Nobody ever messed with them.

 

I'm thinking I wanna upscale the "Snake In a can" and put a bunch of the snakes in my storage compartments so the next person that wants to steal the Dollar store ropes I put in there will have a good scare! =P

 

may sound dumb but i keep a pair of cheap $2 dollar walmart sandals in there just in case i am ever in of alternative clean shoe or if i have nice ones on that dont want ruined

 

Tie down straps, a few bungies, Patrone in one side Capt Morgans in the other,HEY not open container that way , lol. You just have to remember where you left your bottles a few months ago.

That's not a bad idea at all. I keep my crocs in my toolbox for the same reason.

 

ive got tie downs in one side, and then jumper cables and my reciever hitch in the other

 

My tow hitch on one side and straps/bungees/gloves on the other. The bottom and back sides are lined with foam to keep the noise down on the hitch. I also have a tonneau, so water isn't an issue.
