Hey guys, Ive always tried to learn from other people mistakes. Wondering what your biggest regret with your Taco has been so far? Anything from paying a high interest rate, to an expensive mod that didn't work out. Mine was letting the stealership put expensive nerf bars on instead doing it myself later on :anonymous: Lets hear 'em guys!

My only regret is not getting the double cab long bed. I went with the access cab with long bed 'cause it was cheaper, but I should have spent the extra money as it would have nice in some occasions.

nothing yet, I've got everything I wanted in the DC LB Sport w/ towing package and tonneau cover.

only thing I can sort of think about is the day after I bought it I put brand new road tires on it. while I'm still a fan, seeing some of the photos of taco's and their beefy off-road tires has me a bit jelly. although I had no use at all for them :D

I'll counter with not buying the supercharger sooner, when it could be had for cheaper.

I plan to upgrade to the '16 in a year or so and when I do it will be the DCLB in the color I want too. I settled with black since that is what they had on the lot =)

I guess the one regret I have with mine was actually buying it. I really needed a full size when I bought it in 2010 and justified it by telling myself that a full size wasn't needed. :crapstorm:

I straight traded a Nissan frontier regular cab 2 wheel drive 4 banger for my v6 4x4 xcab. Haven't done any mods yet, just got it. So no regrets!!!!!! IMG_20150706_100151965_HDR.jpg

Not sure yet if I regret jumping on a 15 rather than waiting 2 weeks for a 16. i love my truck and think it looks better, but damnit if i don't miss dual climate control.

eh, i don't give a shit, really. but it'd sure make the wife happier.

Spending 1/2 a day and 50-60 bucks on duplicolor matching paint, sandable primer, clear coat, and different sandpaper grits. Only for it to come out not even close to gloss black after followed the DIY to the T. The OCD got to me every time I parked and walked away from the truck and took a glance at it LOL.

I hear ya. I went from a '13 Rav4 limited with leather, sunroof, dual climate, heated seats and so on to a '15 Tacoma Sport so it's pretty basic compared to what I was used to driving, but the Tacoma can do so much more than the Rav could. I should have waited for the '16 too, but I really wanted the '15 'cause it looks better and I didn't want to try out the new motor & transmission yet lol

One can never have too many light bars.
I wish I waited and got it in a stick. The dealer said they could order me one but It would probably be at least a month long wait so I went with the auto. But Autos just aren't as fun.

yeah...from a 13 Outback Limited with all of the same stuff. Wanted it out of my hair before 75k miles. Traded it in with 74,300.

but the technologically retarded-ness of the Tacoma was a bit of a draw for. Less "stuff". If nothing else, the Bluetooth interface of the Tacoma is a hell of a lot better than the Outback. And the Outback would no long play my iPod through the USB port. Bad combo.

Double cab is too small with car seats. With the youngest being rear facing, Thea passenger has their knees in their chin. Otherwise it has been better than all my expectations

I should have gotten a 4Runner. I probably post this a lot, but I was after a 3rd gen 4Runner and just couldn't find one that was clean/non-rusted/low-mileage/4x4 all in one so here I am in my Tacoma. During my search I got very discouraged because when I did find what I want it was already sold.

I've used my truck for truck things, but a 4Runner would have served my purposes better 90% of the time. And I don't care for the 4th or 5th gen 4Runners, though te 4th gen V8 AWD was enticing.
