Seriously on the voice calibration. I was so mad that mine couldn't understand anything it pretty much defeated the purpose of having hands free. Did voice calibration and and she understands me really well now, really gets me you know?

That the paint freaking sucks. Clear coat completely peeled off on my roof and about 20% of the hood. Really pissed about it.

I went with a standard taco. I wish I would have held out for better tires. My truck looks like is has standard car tires on it!

I agree on the mpg to power ratio being bad. I have the 4 cylinder and am fine with how much power it has, but it really should get better gas mileage.

Buying the manual transmission, without running it by my wife first........What is second nature for me, just doesn't click with her and I'm reminded of it every single time we get in the truck.

My girlfriend of 3 years has some vendetta against manual transmissions as well. I told her if you don't want to learn how to drive a manual don't drive my truck, it's that simple. I imagine my tune would be different if we were married though.

Mine is a TRD OR DCSB with 2700mi and a howling window.

I wouldn't trade. I'm just joshin'. Though, still wish I had black.

I am not really wanting to trade either since I started modifying it. Still wish it were magnetic gray. Ha! Black is good though.

When we first started dating I drove an m/t and she had zero interest in driving it or learning and I assumed the taco wouldn't be any different when I bought it. We'd discussed the purchase of the truck a few times and she was onboard and had only stated that I wasn't allowed to buy a red truck. I guess the real mistake was buying it while the was out of state (Air Force OTS) and not waiting until she got back to take her with me......

The frustrating part for me is that she wanted to learn and was doing very well driving around the mall parking lot. After a couple early morning trips to the shopping mall I decided that she was ready to venture into some light traffic, where and she promptly stalled it in an intersection and now refuses to try again.

No Regrets Here! I ordered this truck with premium audio and it did not come in with it . Since then I have located and installed the OEM head unit I wanted and now the truck is the way I originally ordered it. Now I just add mods and small improvements. This taco is the best one I've owned!

I regret getting stock factory size tires when I needed new tires. I like street radials because they are quiet and efficient, and I rarely see dirt or gravel, but the 215s are like rollerskate wheels inside the fender wells, even for the standard 2wd configuration. Should have gone up to 225 or 235 radials. Next time... and I'll replace the spare next time too because I'm including it in the rotation just to wear it out and get rid of it.

I also regret not being super careful handling items in the front passenger foot area, because the glove box door is all scratched to hell. I haven't even been particularly rough.
    But hey, it's a truck, I shouldn't care right?

I regret taking 3 tries to finally get my suspension how I like it/need it. And the first aftermarket front bumper I had. All good now though.
