Plug and find out. It's not going to hurt the tool, and if draw is too much, it will just trip the reset on the inverter.

What kind of company doesnt even have basic electrical specs on their own product? Makes you wont what part of alibaba they are sourcing the compressor and slapping their own sticker on it.

I thought of that, but that means I have to go buy it at Home Depot or order it from Amazon and return it if it doesn't work out. Since all I really want it for is tires I think I will just go with their cordless inflator since I already have 18v batteries and the charger from other Makita tools I have. I'll use the inverter for chargers and such, which seem to work ok for folks.

A small Makita Angle Grinder. Worked fine but I only needed to make a couple of quick cuts in some aluminum tabs.

I use mine for a soldering iron when doing electrical on the truck and don't feel like running an extension cord. I also use it to charge things I don't have a DC charger for. That's about it.

Have also ran a 27" TV off it at a football tailgate.

My ole lady uses a tiny hair dryer plugged in after the days we had hot enough solar shower bags while off grid in Colorado several summers back. She dug it, only other things I’ve used to for was a 6amp chainsaw, hit or miss, and to charge battery packs or the little bilge pump shower unit. Pretty gimmicky addition in my humble opinion.

I know the OP's question was several years ago but I enjoyed seeing what other people are able to power with the bed outlet. I have used this air compressor with no problem (1 gallon, 2.6 amp):

I was also suprised I was able to run a Bosch sawz-all with it - we had a massive flood in my area that destroyed some little league ball fields. My son and I spent a weekend helping the community clean up, and we were assigned to help clean up and remove all the metal chain link fencing that had been knocked down. The electric power was disabled by the flood, but I was able to use my truck as power for the saw, and was able to help cut up the tangled mess of fencing. Made me realize how useful that bed outlet is!

Inverters should be rated at least double, ideally triple the rated load of constant speed motors such as compressors, circular saws, table saws, pumps and such. Resistive loads such as chargers, lights, heaters and variable speed motors, etc are good up to rated load. Microwaves are another story.
