Curious what everyone stores in the cubbies/areas under the back seats or behind the back seats in their trucks. Please post.

    I have:
    - collapsable shovel
    - recovery strap
    - survival blanket
    - emergency bivvy
    - spare swiss army knife
    - spare batteries
    - a soduku book to keep me entertained if stranded

Hmm, I seem underprepared haha. I had a ton of stuff in my tundra but the space is rather limited in the Taco. Most of my stuff doesn't fit so I only have a few jackets and some camera gear at the moment in the passenger side.

    Sub on the drivers side.

Under the seats I've got an emergency kit, tow strap, a few tie down ratchet straps, some tools, .380 ammo, and the jack. Used to keep a trailer hitch but it wouldn't shut with it under there. Same with my tool box. Too big for under the seat and too big for behind the seat. I'll figure something out I suppose.

    What's in the tundra spaces? This isn't necessarily a Tacoma-specific question :)

Husky Weatherbeaters, OEM Mud Guards, Wheel Well Liners, Bullet Spray-In Bed Liner, Gator Soft Tri-Fold Cover, Michelin LTX M/S2 (Summer), Blizzak DM-V2 (Winter)
Under: Tow strap, tow chain, jumper cables, 2 ft breaker bar, pieces of 2x4s, hydraulic bottle jack and factory jack,

Behind: Tool bag (sockets/ratchets, wrenches, hammer, screwdrivers, multimeter, tape measure, pliers, vice grips, etc.), 3300 lb ratcheting tie-downs, hitch and pin, 7-4 pin adapter, bag of extra cables and such for work, OBDII scanner, Maglite

    I think that's it.

I'd like to add a few things. I have a small Craftsman floor jack that I'd like to put in along with a piece of plywood for it, and I'd like some sort of small air compressor. It's a matter of finding space.

Im always looking for more little emergency items to keep in the truck, but here's pretty much everything that's in there now.

    Behind seats-
Combat lifesaver bag (basically a big army first aid kit)
    E-tool (collapsible shovel)
Woobie (blanket/sleeping bag/poncho liner aka best invention in the army)
    Flashlight
    Small tool kit
    Ziplock bags
    550 cord (paracord)

    Under-
    Jack
    More tools
    Jumper cables
    More first aid crap
    Work gloves
    Life straw
    Small reusable water bottle

I pulled the plastic out behind the drivers side and under the back sits (passenger side is woofer). With the plastic put it give me a couple more inches of space. I have a heavy jacket, waterproof pants, air compressor and first aid kit behind the seat. Jumper cables, tow straps, rope and bungees under the seat. Everything fits in there pretty snug so there is no movement or noise.

When I eventually get back into a Tacoma, my Ruger 10/22 bug out bag will be in there.

There are some impressive kits listed. I live in a city, so side of the road/trail repairs with the tools I bring isnt happening. Just a credit card and a tow back to my shop is all that required.

My city kit consists of a small bag with 8 ratchet tie-downs, a couple of bungie's, a towel, mechanics gloves for loading heavy shit, and a fold up stool so my 88 year old mom can climb in the truck. Id like to get a tow strap tho, to help others out in the winter.
