In trying to decide which color for my last 2 Taco's, (2012 and 2022) I counted non commercial vehicles on the road. 1 point for any black, white, or dark gray, and 1 point for everything else, including silver. First to reach 10 wins. Around here the black, whites, and dark gray ALWAYS win. The roadways remind me of the uniformity of old, colorless, East Germany of the 60's and 70's:anonymous:

7 is a little steep. I think pretty much everyone is charging a minimum of 5k, so your not that far off. At least it wasn't 10k, which I've heard of.

But if you love the truck, think of it this way. It's 7k to get a little slice of something that makes you want to get out of bed, and go to work.

Treat yourself bro. Life's to short for 7k "I wish I hads"

I feel you man. That’s exactly what I’m thinking. I feel that the pain of $7K will slowly fade away with knowing I got the exact truck I wanted. And I really don’t need to add on things which I would have done with the one I reserved, i.e. lift, new wheels, new tires, etc. And it has literally all the bells and whistles.

I just need to figure out how to get my $1K non refundable deposit back from the first vehicle!

    stay tuned!!

oh damn it... I read "electric" in the title and was getting ready to sh*t post about EVs....uhhhh. guess I'll wait till Friday.

Although I did like the fast a furious movies... that lime green is a no for me. The only acceptable "new" color is lunar rock. Get out of here with that army green too.

If you buy a new car - you'll drive around the block for 600 miles just to drive it...

Might as well enjoy a road trip while you are at it. I drove almost 500 miles to get my Taco home. - It was a great trip and a fun day.

I like it - Admittedly, it wouldn’t be my top choice for my own personal truck, but I don’t think Toyota really offers any bad colors.

Each has its own thing going on and I think it’s all in how you compliment it with accessories.

The drive wouldn't bother me. I've never been to Wyoming (I'm in AZ) so I can take lots of pics driving it south. Plus being out of the box (house) is appealing. F Covid! I would really see this as a road trip through some beautiful country.

Personally it’s too loud and gaudy for my taste. Every time I see this color I think of this on wheels.

Sooooooo.... I decided NOT to get it. The $7K markup just was too much for me. And I am truly not an off-road type of dude. So level heads prevailed.

I'm glad I did not make an impulse buy... knowing that the deposit was refundable allowed me to thoughtfully think through it over the last several hours. Thank you all who supported me either way! Love this group!
