I want to put my truck up about 5" but I cant afford a big IFS lift kit. So I'm getting 5100's at 2.5" in the front, 2" lift shackles in the rear, and I was thinking about getting a 1.5" body lift for a total of 4" in the front and 3.5" in the rear. So I found this site for body lifts for Toyotas. The one I was looking at is the 1.5" kit in the "2001-2004 Tacoma, Regular and Extra Cab pickups" "full kit-Cab+Body" section. Check it out and let me know what you think. (link below)

I think that as long as you keep the body lift at 1 inch you'll be okay :)

What about 1.5"? That's the one I wanted.

That's what I was gonna get. So it would all come out to a little less than $300.

That one looks nice. The only reason why I don't want just a 1" lift is because it's barely anything, and the 2" is too obvious. It starts to look gay when you get a big ass gap between the body and the frame. But I saw pics of a tacoma just like mine with a 3" OME lift and a 1.5" body lift and it is EXACTLY how I want mine to look.

Saw some stupid s-10 blazer with body lift the other day & he had even painted the exposed frame silver to match the body color, lol.

IMO, it'd be OK if not going crazy with it & not painting anything. Black step tubes or sliders would subtle it down too.

I just want that little extra bit of lift that I can't get unless I get like a $2500 IFS lift kit.
